Pursuing a data analytics boot camp is a big step, no matter where you are in your professional journey. Our program is designed to not only equip you with the fundamental tools and skills you need to accelerate your career, but to also provide you with unparalleled support and resources before, during, and after your boot camp.
More than 2.5 quintillion bytes of data are created each day — much of which can be used to translate information into global insights, predict future trends, and help organizations make better decisions.
Canada is facing a data analyst labour shortage, with projected job openings for database analysts and data administrators expected to outnumber job seekers by nearly 8% between 2019 and 2028.1
Our employer-competitive learners have received job offers from thousands of global organizations. As you take the next steps in your career, you’ll have exclusive access to job referrals from our network of 250+ partners.
Our Career Engagement Network will help you apply the tools and knowledge you’ll learn in your program to advance your career. They will assist you in developing a strong portfolio, a polished resume, and sharp interview skills. You’ll also have access to free career resources throughout your professional life.
University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies Data Analytics Boot Camp is a learner-first, online experience that combines collaborative, hands-on training with real-world data sets to provide you with the tools to collect, analyze, and visualize big data — and to make your next career move.
The curriculum is delivered through high-quality coursework and live, online classes. Instructors are fully vetted by the university and offer 1-on-1 guidance to learners throughout the program.
Do more with Microsoft Excel. You’ll even learn to model historic stock trends — and, hopefully, learn to beat the market.

Your final project is an opportunity to get creative and collaborate with a small group of learners to design an impressive data visualization application.

Due to the vast nature of the data analytics field, you will be able to tailor a portion of your learning experience to the exact career path you want to pursue. Choose from finance, healthcare, or a custom direction, and work with a small team to design your final project based on your industry of interest — and on the problems you want to solve.
This is a part-time program designed for working professionals like you who are seeking to advance careers, enhance skills for a current role, or change career paths by learning data science and analytics.
